By achieving optimum balance of all product component life cycles, solar crystalline cells can last for over 25 years, with near full output (80%+).
We use sun and weatherproof solar cell encapsulation materials which are proven for good resilience to UV and severe weather exposure. This increases the portable panel lifetime to 10-15+ years.
Our high energy density crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar panels charge at up to three times the light to electricity with a conversion efficiency of 18-23% currently compared to amorphous silicon (a-Si) with a 5-12% cell efficiency and other thin film solar panels.
This means higher power output per much smaller panel area, and with much less than the same weight/Wp ratio.
Thin Sol-Cryst-FLEXTM Panel Systems have a currently and rising much higher efficiency compared to thin film solar panels. This superior charging power is very stable and little affected by aging for over 10 years of sun and weather exposure (See Table 1), and also gives significant savings.
We also make medium power density panels (15-18% cell efficiency) for customers where, with more ample installation space, highest power density is not essential.
However compared to thin film panels (with 5-12% cell efficiency), our medium power density panels are still much more efficient and can obtain higher power output on a smaller panel area.
We do not make low power density (< 14% cell efficiency) panels.

Multiple Thin Sol-Cryst-FLEXTM Panels can be interconnected almost seamlessly for larger areas, and with other components to form a complete solar PV power generation and supply system. This new unique bySol-Lite technology overcomes the disadvantages of conventional solar crystal panels that are bulky, flat and rigid, and also of thin film's low power density and shorter life cycle.
Thin Sol-Cryst-FLEXTM Panel Systems are flexible and bendable. They are encapsulated in tough, flexible and clear materials, can be installed with or without a flexible substrate, and are bending to moderately curved surfaces, such as vehicle roofs and hoods.
Easy installation on curved hard vehicle roofs, hoods and other suitable surfaces is with long life, special outdoor double-stick tapes.
Thin Sol-Cryst-FLEXTM Panel Systems are thin (3-10 mm) and very low weight (25-50 g/Wp/flex panel), similar to thin film panels, but with much higher power density and rugged - portable.
With no bulky and heavy glass covers or big aluminum frames, as mini-panels (up to 100 Wp) they are easy to fit onto solarized electrical or electronic products, or as max-panels (< 200 Wp) they are attached to surfaces of EVs and HEVs (electric vehicles) and other solar feasible equipments.

If, within the years specified above from date of purchase, a bySol-Lite product fails due to a defect in materials and work-skillship under normal application, installation, use and service conditions. bySol-Lite Mfg. Ltd., at its sole option, will repair or replace this product.
